LUNCH/DRINKS
Camp Gulls and Jr. Gulls-La Mesa: Campers can bring a lunch or sign up for a hot lunch offered by THE LUNCH BOX in La Mesa. A menu will be emailed to you before your camp. Please print the menu with your selections and bring it along with cash to check-in on Monday morning.
Jr. Gulls Point Loma and Seaside Players: Campers must bring their own lunch each day.
Fresh fruit & water is available throughout the day for no additional charge. Students are allowed to bring their own bottles for water & snack if desired.
DAY PACK
A small day pack or bag is recommended to hold required items. Please clearly label all items. Electronics are never allowed (unless called for in a certain class) and should not be sent with the student. However, students are encouraged to bring summer reading books. Cell phones must be off at all times and can only be used with teacher permission.
SUNCARE & ATTIRE
Please apply sunscreen each morning & a hat is recommended. Students will be reminded to reapply throughout the day, particularly before & after swimming activities. Wear clothing appropriate for active participation – modest shorts & shirt, close-toed shoes, and a removable long-sleeved layer.
WATER ACTIVITIES
If swimming, pedal boating, or other aquatic activities are scheduled, please come prepared with a modest bathing suit, towel, & flip flops. If the activity is in the morning, it is okay to wear suit under clothes, but make sure you also bring a change and have close-toes shoes for the afternoon.
Before/ After Camp Care
Offered at both campuses and is included in the camp tuition.
Mornings: 7:00- 9:00 am
Afternoon: 3:00-5:30 pm
Late Pick-Ups (after 5:30 pm) incur a $1/min charge.
We provide transportation for all 1st -8th grade Camp Gulls campers in school busses and vans driven by our own fully-licensed and insured drivers.
