Warren-Walker School is fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).  WASC is one of six regional accrediting associations in the United States. WASC accreditation is an ongoing six-year cycle whereby schools demonstrate the capacity, commitment, and competence to support high-quality student learning and ongoing school improvement.


High speed internet access is provided in all computer labs, libraries, and classrooms.  Classrooms are equipped with various forms of audio-visual and digital devices including ELMOs- all inclusive AV teaching units- Mimio Boards, laptops, iPads, Chromebooks and tablets. 

Field Trips

Field trips are an important part of the educational program.  All students go on field trips, including overnights for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.  In Middle School, students experience a week-long outdoor education camp, and the 8th grade travels to the East Coast visiting Washington D.C. and New York City each spring.

Physical Education & Athletics 

Physical Education is taught daily beginning in Kindergarten through 8th Grades.  In Middle School, a variety of interscholastic sports are offered, including soccer, track and field, flag football, golf, tennis, basketball, and volleyball. Other recreational choices offered at various times of the year include yoga, hip-hop, surfing, beach volleyball and more.

Fine & Performing Arts

Warren-Walker School offers a range of fine and performing arts opportunities, including an annual Arts Night on each campus, Holiday Tea, Band Concerts, and elaborate grade-level plays.

Community Service

The Middle School Student Council, WWPA, WWS administration, and individual classes sponsor community service activities throughout the school year.  Examples of these activities include: The San Diego River Project, Meals on Wheels, beach clean ups, food drives, bake sales, etc.

Each Middle School student is required to earn a minimum of eight hours of service each year

Extended Care

Available for all students prekindergarten through 5th grades beginning at 7:00am through 5:30pm. Homework Club and a variety of after-school activities benefit the Lower School students. After-school Study Hall is available to Middle School students from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
