On Friday, February 1st, as part of the 7th grade unit on Japan, students were visited by friends of Mrs. Robinson who taught them how to write their names in kanji. Kanji is as much art as it is written form - it is the characters unique to Japanese writing. Then, on Monday, students were treated to lunch at Benihana. There, they had a taste of the traditional foods of Japan along with that special entertaining flair that only Benihana can provide! Experiencing the culture of Japan is the best way to learn!

Sitting on the floor making pillows, eating popcorn and listening to holiday music, WWMS Students made nearly 100 pillows for the homeless! These pillows were distributed at PetCo Park on Christmas Day by the Schultz Family. Thank you the Dylan Shultz and his mom, Annie for organizing this great service project!
